Are you a NCC Certified Nurse or Nurse Practitioner?

Jul 4, 2014

Remember to take your specialty assessment - before you earn CE!

The maintenance requirements for NCC Certified Nurses and Nurse Practitioners*  are determined by their specialty assessment.  The specialty assessment creates a personalized  education plan that directs the continuing education activities needed in order to maintain a NCC certification. The education plan gives a snap shot of current knowledge competencies and allows individuals to choose CE that is both appropriate for NCC maintenance and professional development.

You MUST have an education plan - BEFORE earning CE to apply to your NCC maintenance. Only CE earned AFTER the specialty assessment has been completed AND in the specific areas defined by your personalized  education plan can be used towards NCC maintenance.

1) take your specialty assessment
2) review your education plan
3) earn required CE

Sign in to your NCCwebsite.org account and View Your Education Plan(s) to review your personalized CE requirements.
