Webinar... “Grandfathering, Endorsement, and Other New “Rules” for APRNs”

May 1, 2015

The National Association of Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NANNP) is sponsoring a free webinar, “Grandfathering, Endorsement, and Other New “Rules” for APRNs”.

This one hour event is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13 at 1:00 pm CDT.

Description and Objectives:
In the fall of 2014, the National Council of State Boards of Nursing delegate assembly approved new rules for licensure by endorsement and guidelines to govern "grandfathering" rules for APRNs. This webinar will discuss these new rules and utilize a case-based approach to identify potential impact on individual NNP practice.

1. Compare and contrast the new recommendations for future regulation of APRN practice.
2. Identify potential impact on individual practice as it relates to the new recommendations.

Presented by Suzanne Staebler, DNP APRN NNP-BC FAANP, associate professor in the clinical track and specialty program coordinator for the NNP Program at the Neil Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing at Emory University; neonatal nurse practitioner for the School of Medicine at Emory University; and health policy consultant for the Alliance for Patient Access.
