NCC has several new certifications and subspecialty certifications in various stages of development. Below are some that will be ready this year and next. We are very excited to announce these upcoming certification opportunities!

Care of the Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate (C-ELBW)
This multidisciplinary subspecialty certification was created for neonatal professionals with advanced knowledge in the specialty care required for extremely low birth weight neonates.Neonatal Neuro-Intensive Care (C-NNIC)
This multidisciplinary subspecialty certification was developed to recognize neonatal professionals who demonstrate a specialized body of knowledge and expertise in the neurological and neuroprotective care neonates.

Obstetric and Neonatal Quality and Safety (C-ONQS)
This multidisciplinary subspecialty certification is being created for professionals working in obstetric and neonatal care units with advanced knowledge of development, implementation and evaluation of Q&S initiatives. Quality and Safety crosses all disciplines. This new exam will address QI broadly and then focus on neonatal and obstetrics for application questions. Antepartum Nursing Certification
This core nursing certification is being developed for nursing professionals that work in Antepartum units providing care to pregnant women – before the baby is delivered. This new exam will test the specialty knowledge needed to care for women with pregnancy complications that cannot be managed on an outpatient basis.Visit NCCemail.net/exams to request a notification when a new exam is available!
