This exam focuses on the knowledge of uteroplacental and maternal-fetal physiology, fetal oxygenation, identifying and interpreting the significance of fetal heart rate patterns to determine interventions, use of adjunct fetal assessment methods and knowledge of maternal and fetal complications.

NCC’s Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification Exam and Maintenance of NCC C-EFM® Certification has been approved to meet the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) Part IV Improvement in Medical Practice requirements for Continuing Certification (CC) as an ABOG-approved Simulation Course for 2021-2026.
