NCC’s
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM®) multidisciplinary certification is for licensed health care professionals who utilize the application of electronic fetal monitoring and interpretation of data obtained to provide care to obstetrical patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
This exam encompasses knowledge of uteroplacental and maternal-fetal physiology, fetal oxygenation, identifying and interpreting the significance of fetal heart rate patterns to determine interventions, use of adjunct fetal assessment methods and knowledge of maternal and fetal complications.
