The Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB®)
certification is for obstetrical nurses who provide care to hospitalized pregnant women during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and newborn periods. Candidates can describe a comprehensive plan for individualized nursing care, including diagnostic, therapeutic and patient educational components.
