MULTIDISCIPLINARY CERTIFICATIONS

There are no practice experience minimums for specialty certification! Build on your credentials whenever you are ready.

Care of the Extremely Low Birth Weight Neonate (C-ELBW)
The C-ELBW multidisciplinary certification is for neonatal professionals who identify life-threatening conditions in the ELBW neonate and initiate appropriate early intervention and individualized plans of care and focus on strategies to reduce risk and optimize outcomes.
  Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM®)
The C-EFM® multidisciplinary certification is for antepartum and obstetric professionals who identify and interpret the significance of fetal heart rate patterns to determine interventions.

Neonatal Neuro-Intensive Care (C-NNIC)*
The C-NNIC multidisciplinary certification is for neonatal ICU professionals who care for neurologically at-risk or impaired neonates, such as those with apnea, seizures, HIE and IVH.

  Obstetric and Neonatal Quality and Safety (C-ONQS)
The C-ONQS multidisciplinary certification is for Q&S professionals who practice, develop and/or implement Q&S initiatives and focuses on the knowledge, skills and tools used to assess, evaluate and integrate quality and safety into practice in the obstetric and neonatal settings.
Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT®)
The C-NPT® multidisciplinary certification is for transport professionals who work as a team providing care to neonatal and/or pediatric patients beyond the walls of the hospital.
   


NURSING CERTIFICATIONS

Inpatient Antepartum Nursing (RNC-IAP)
The RNC-IAP certification is for nursing professionals who care for hospitalized women with pregnancy complications that cannot be managed on an outpatient basis.
  Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN®)
The RNC-MNN certification is for mother/baby nurses who provide care to the childbearing family from birth to six weeks within hospital, outpatient or community settings.
Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB®)
The RNC-OB® is for obstetrical nurses who provide care to hospitalized pregnant women during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and newborn periods.
  Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC®)
The RNC-NIC® certification is for neonatal ICU nurses who provide care to acutely and critically ill neonatal patients and their families within an intensive care environment.
Low Risk Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-LRN®)
The RNC-LRN® certification is for neonatal ICU nurses who provide care to acutely and chronically ill neonatal patients and their families within level II, chronic care, or step-down units.
