Below are the winners* of the Job Analysis Surveys completed this year. Several of our winners had additional thoughts on the value of certification that they wanted to share!

Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNC-NIC®)
Jeanette Diaz BSN, RNC-NIC, C-ELBW
Assistant Nurse Manager - Neonatal ICU
Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla New York
I am happy to share my thoughts on certification. I am always pushing my nurses to take the test when they are eligible.

Obtaining certifications in both Neonatal ICU Nursing and Extra Low Birth Weight Infants has been greatly rewarding. Years of experience and hard work are able to be recognized. Neonatal nurses hold the utmost pride in meticulous care of these fragile infants. Being able to prove what we have learned is gratifying. I urge those eligible to study, stay current with evidence-based practice (act according to your facility's policies) and get certified!

Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB®)
Emely F. Whitson, RNC-OB, C-EFM

I would say the value of my certification has allowed me to continuously keep up to date on the latest research and standards of care in order to advocate for my patients and their families to the best of my knowledge and capabilities.
