Using NCC CE modules to maintain NCC certification is a convenient and affordable choice - but not required. NCC recognizes major national accrediting agencies, state boards of nursing, and health care organizations as CE providers. (for a full list of recognized accrediting organizations - click here)
The criteria for earning CE for NCC maintenance is
• CE must be accredited by an agency recognized by NCC.
• CE must be in the certification specialty.
Additional requirements for RNC & BC-NP certifications
• CE must be completed after the specialty assessment.
• CE must be in accordance with the education plan.
