State Boards of Nursing may look up and download certification status with a valid access code. Verification will provide name, number of certifications held, certification specialty area (s), original date of certification and the certification expiration date. In addition it will have a link to the current certification certificate.
Only active certifications will appear. Lapsed certifications will not appear. If the anticipated verification does not appear, contact dhayes@nccnet.org for further information on status. Updates are made to the system on a daily basis but it can take up to four weeks to update information for those newly certified or who have recently maintained and are in audit.
State Board of Nursing can enter a single certificants name and NCC ID or multiple entries at one time by adding additional names. The State Board of Nursing can also use a CVS files with last name, NCC ID. This will allow the state board to look up as many certificants as they would like at one time. The data will be provided in an Excel file to put into your records. In addition, links will be provided to the CE certificates.
